Three coupon books from the Irvington Ice & Coal Company, located at 412 South Ritter Avenue. The front of the books identify L. L. Swartz as president of the company, dating the books to after 1932. His father, Albert Swartz, became the sole owner of the company circa 1920. He died in 1932, leaving the company to his son Leonard L. Swartz. L. L. Swartz remained president until the early 1950s. |
