Carrie Marley (1895-1985) poses on the front porch of the family home at 2500 La Salle Street in Indianapolis. Taken in 1912, when Carrie was 17-years old, the year before her marriage to Charles Settle. The house in the photo has since been razed. From the Settle Family Collection, comprised of nearly 100 photographs saved by lifelong Indianapolis resident Carrie (Marley) Settle (1895-1985). The photos feature her brothers and sisters, her husband Charles Settle (1888-1949). their eight children, and more than twenty grandchildren.
