Title Photo of Jacob Poinsatte Place tavern at East End Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 1916
Description Three men and two dogs posed in front of the Jacob Poinsatte Place saloon. Also painted on the window is "The East-End Park / Sample Room." It was located at 1016 Maumee Avenue. Advertising signs in the window promote Sunny Brook, Nebo Cigarettes, and Berghoff Beer. A Palace Theatre poster advertises Mrs. Eva Fay, the Travilla Brothers, and Art Adair, who performed in Fort Wayne in April 1916. Jacob Poinsatte (1865-1926), a native of France, was later known as Poinsette.
