Description Postcard of the solarium or sun room at the Dillsboro Sanitarium. While searching for either oil or gas near Dillsboro, Indiana in 1900, the drillers found mineral water believed to have medicinal qualities, thus Dillsboro became known as a health resort. In 1911 the Dillsboro Sanitarium Company was incorporated. This interior postcard is postmarked February 12, 1923.
