Description |
Postcard is titled "Indiana University Well House, Bloomington, Indiana." Postmarked April 25, 1911. The Well House was built in 1908 and served as a major water source for the campus for many years. The stones used to build the well house are made from the Old College Building, built in 1855. It is named in honor of Theodore F. Rose, class of 1875, and is located in the Old Crescent area of campus. |
