Description Snapshot of the six salvaged stone statues removed from the tower of the old Marion County Courthouse (built 1875), during its demolition on June 13, 1962. There is a sign on the fence in the foreground for Arrow Wrecking Company, Dearborn, Michigan. This photo was taken by an unnamed doctor who worked at the Veterans Administration Regional office at 36 S. Pennsylvania Street in Indianapolis. The note on back of this photo states "They wound up at Crown Hill Cemetery".
