Description Photo showing donor Pete Sherry as a boy with the statues located at the Five Points Fire Station. The cast iron statues were of a young African-American boy holding the leash of a Newfoundland dog. The statue of the boy was later considered offensive, and was removed in the 1960s. The building is located at 1511 Main Street, and was later the home of the Historic Five Points Fire Station Museum.
