Description Proprietor or attendant George Adolf Schele (1881-1932) stands in front of a Sinclair Refining Company gasoline station located at the corner of Broadway and Taylor Streets in Fort Wayne, ca. 1930. Although the handwritten label states "Geo Schele and his filling station / Taylor & Broadway," the 1930 census lists him as an attendant and not the owner.
