Printed on the front is "Boko Toilet Water / for the / Head, Hair and Skin." The remainder of the advertisement boasts Boko's ability to make bangs fluffy, keeps hair curly, prevents dandruff, and stops hair from falling out. The back lists reasons to use Boko. Manufactured by G. Varin & Co. in Indianapolis from as early as 1885. William George Varin (1847-1906), a wig maker who operated a hair goods store, invented and manufactured the product. |
