A marching band (possibly Purdue, based on the drum) passes the flag-draped Colonade Apartments at about 839-843 North Meridian Street. The electric sign in the foreground reads Lexington. A Welcome Home sign indicates that this was probably the homecoming parade for World War I soldiers. Welcome Home Day was May 7, 1919 |
