Description |
Shown is the first group of young women who qualified to become Shark-ettes. They wear one-piece bathing suits and "Shark-ettes" sashes and are identified as, left to right, Anecetra Souza, Diane Daugherty, Kay Daugherty, Nancy Heron, and Lora Wilson. The Sharkettes, modeled after the male Sharks, qualified for the honor by swimming across Fox Lake and learning about lake safety. This program of the Fox Lake Property Owner's Association taught swimming and lake safety. |
