Description |
Willis Truax (back) and son Harlan Truax (front) demonstrating an electric unloader with canvas on bed to unload corn. They stand in front of a corn crib. Harlan is holding the on/off switch. The elevator, made by a welding shop in Danville and probably designed by Kenneth Truax, had an electric motor. Taken on the farm of Willis Truax (1898-1983) and Rena (Patrick) Truax (1900-1993). One of six photographs of the Truax family farming operation taken by WTTV Channel 4 of Bloomington, Indiana. |
