Team photo of the Indianapolis Hoosiers, the Federal League Champions in 1914. Baseball bats lie on the ground in front the players. The Indianapolis Hoosiers were based in Indianapolis in 1913-1914 at Riverside Park and Federal League Park. The team moved to Harrison, New Jersey in 1915 and was renamed the Newark Peppers. A family member identified the man seated to the far right as William Boyd McKechnie (1886-1965). One of the players is likely Edd Roush (1893-1988). |
