The photo is inscribed "To Mrs. George Philip Meier, who knows my greatest ambitions almost as well as I do myself." The image is from the collection of autographed photos owned by Nellie Simmons Meier, many of which were given to her after she told their fortune by reading their palms. Frederick was an Irvington, Indiana artist who lived from 1875-1957. |
