Written on the back is "Poston Oriental Brick Co." and "Attica, Ind." Notes on the back indicate that this was a proof postcard, dated November 2, 1913. The brick company was located about 1.25 miles northeast of Attica along River Road [now County Road East 1400 North]. The view is roughly southwest and the mine tracks lead to a clay pit behind the camera's location. |
