Description |
Architect Adolph Scherrer designed the brick structure which opened in 1907 as the Maennerchor Hall, a German singing club. After the Indiana University Law School moved to a new building, American States Insurance bought the landmark and demolished it in October 1974. It was located on the northwest corner of North Illinois and West Michigan Streets. Time stamped August 1970. Handwritten on the mount is "Indiana U, Law School - old." |
