According to the Greenfield Daily Reporter, "Local Industry to be Honored by Chamber," 24 June 1958, p. 4, Standard Products Corporation began operations in June 1952. It was a branch of Standard Locknut and Lockwasher, Inc. of Indianapolis and it manufactured bearing locknuts for the aircraft and missile industry. The photographer Charles Schanke, Jr. was the plant manager. |
