Description |
Portrait of George Washington Baldwin (1846-1900) and his wife Louisa (Holloway) Baldwin (1850-1910). The couple was married in Kosciusko County, Indiana on January 14, 1868 and together raised more than ten children before George's death in 1900. They are both buried in the Nichols Cemetery, south of the town of Mentone, Kosciusko County, where Louisa was born. This appears to be a copy of a tintype. [Note: This does not appear to be the same couple identified as George and Lousa Baldwin in portraits in Find A Grave and ancestry.com. Perhaps this is an older generation.] |
