Description |
T. E. Cory (probably house carpenter Thorley E. Cory) mailed this real photo postcard to a friend in Vernon, Indiana, stating "I will send you the picture of my allies [alleys] at River Sid Park" [sic Riverside Park]. Riverside Amusement Park advertised a Box Ball Bowling Alley as early as 1906. The one shown was manufactured by the American Box Ball company in Indianapolis. |
