Description |
The school, which stood on the northwest corner of Ridge and Waldron Streets, was built in 1878 and closed in 1922. The Medaryville Garment Factory purchased the building, removed the second floor, and made additions on the south and west sides. The factory closed in 1996. Dated October 25, 1913 on the back. Also written on the back is "burned in 1920s?" [There is no evidence that the building burned and it appears to have still be standing in 2018.] |
